Your inner life is private. Evolve is built on the principle that your reflections, habits, and growth data are yours — not ours. This policy explains exactly how we handle your information.
Overview
Evolve is operated by ZEG Pty Ltd ("ZEG", "we", "us") and accessible at evolve.zeg.com.au. We process personal data in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. For EEA users, we comply with the GDPR.
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service. We never sell your data. We never use your personal reflections to train general-purpose AI models without your explicit consent.
What We Collect
Information you provide
- Account data: name, email address, password
- Growth goals and areas of focus you set during onboarding
- Daily reflection responses — stored encrypted, never shared
- Habit completion data and custom habit configurations
- Optional wellbeing check-ins (mood, sleep, energy) — always optional, never required
Automatically collected
- Usage patterns (features used, session duration) — anonymised
- Device type, OS, and app version for technical support
- Crash reports and performance data — aggregated only
How We Use It
- To generate your daily Growth Score and personalised questions
- To power habit scheduling, resistance prediction, and adaptive coaching
- To identify patterns in your reflections and surface meaningful insights
- To send optional notifications and weekly review summaries
- To improve Evolve through anonymised, aggregate usage analysis
- To comply with our legal obligations
Your reflection content is never used to train AI models visible to other users. Your personal growth data is never used to display advertisements.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share only in these limited cases:
- Infrastructure providers (hosting, database) — bound by strict data processing agreements
- Legal requirements — only when compelled by law
- Business transfers — with notice to you in advance
Security
- All reflection data encrypted at rest with AES-256
- All data in transit over HTTPS/TLS
- Access to personal data restricted to authorised personnel only
- Regular third-party security audits
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time — directly from Settings within the app, or by emailing hello@zeg.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
